Alife James Baldwin Hoodie
To celebrate Black History Month, Alife® is releasing a series of six hoodies, each featuring the name of a different figure pivotal to promoting African American culture and values in the United States. The names prominently displayed on the hoodies range from James Baldwin, to political activist Marcus Garvey. All six hoodies will release individually throughout the month of February exclusively on Alife’s website.
Harriet Tubman served as a scout, spy, guerrilla soldier, and nurse for the Union Army during the Civil War. She is considered the first African American woman to serve in the military. Harriet Tubman also led more than 300 enslaved people to freedom along the route of the Underground Railroad, earning the nickname “Moses” for her leadership.
The heather grey hooded sweatshirts are all made of a heavyweight, pre-shrunk 14 oz fleece, with the name screen printed on the chest, and ribbed cuffs and sides.
A portion of proceeds will go towards supporting African American history & culture institutions in the United States.
