Serving as a testament to craftsmanship and unbound creativity, adidas Originals and the German porcelain brand, Meissen, have joined forces for a special take on the ZX 10,000 C sneaker. Driven by a shared commitment to manufacturing excellence, this partnership marks the first time that the ZX 10,000 C  silhouette has been produced in Germany at adidas’ Scheinfeld factory. 

Inspired by a traditional handcrafted floral vase, the ZX 10,000 C Meissen sneaker has been crafted with a white midsole and white leather upper which features a carefully considered floral print design. Then, staying true to Meissen’s elegant approach, the shoe’s upper, tongue, lace jewels, and sock liners are unbranded with the only subtle hit of branding appearing on the sole.

 In celebration of this special partnership, adidas Originals and Meissen have also come together to create a 1 of 1 art piece: the ZX 8000 Porcelain. Comprised of premium adidas leather hand-painted by Meissen, marvelously hand-made Meissen porcelain overlays, and weighing exactly 950 grams, this unique creation will be auctioned by Sotheby’s in New York City.
